While there’s some serious myth behind it, like the hollywood idea that you can be turned into some kind of zombie, it’s actually a lot more clinical than all that. Hypnosis, sometimes dismissed as a pseudoscience, is a widely discussed topic of psychology, another thing people think is pseudoscience.
